These Bang Bang Salmon Bites are crispy, tender salmon cubes coated in a creamy, sweet, and spicy bang bang sauce. Perfect as an appetizer, dinner bowl topper, or quick protein-packed meal.

Ingredients
  

  • Salmon Bites
  • 1 lb salmon fillet skin removed, cut into cubes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • Bang Bang Sauce
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • Optional Garnish
  • Green onions chopped
  • Sesame seeds
  • Lime wedges

Method
 

  1. Pat salmon dry and cut into bite-sized cubes.
  2. In a bowl, toss salmon with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and soy sauce.
  3. Sprinkle cornstarch over salmon and gently mix to coat evenly.
  4. Cook salmon using one method:
  5. Air fryer: 375°F (190°C) for 8–10 minutes
  6. Oven: 400°F (200°C) for 12–15 minutes
  7. Pan-fry: 3–4 minutes per side until crispy
  8. In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and rice vinegar.
  9. Toss cooked salmon bites in bang bang sauce until fully coated.
  10. Garnish with green onions, sesame seeds, and lime juice. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Dry salmon well for maximum crispiness.
  • Add sauce just before serving to keep texture crispy.
  • Adjust spice level by increasing or reducing sriracha.
  • Great served over rice, in salmon bowls, or with sushi-style sides.
  • Can substitute salmon with cod or shrimp if desired.
  • Best enjoyed fresh, but leftovers can be stored for up to 2 days in the fridge.
