  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Cinnamon Sugar Coating
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Optional Add-Ins
  • White chocolate chips
  • Toffee bits
  • Chopped pecans
  • Brown butter for deeper flavor

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add egg and vanilla extract and mix until smooth.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  6. Chill dough for 20–30 minutes for better texture.
  7. Mix cinnamon and sugar for coating in a small bowl.
  8. Roll dough into balls and coat in cinnamon sugar mixture.
  9. Place on baking sheet and bake for 10–12 minutes.
  10. Cool slightly before serving.
