  • 4 salmon fillets skin-on or skinless
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or thyme for garnish (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line with parchment paper.
  2. Pat salmon fillets dry and season both sides with salt, black pepper, and Cajun seasoning.
  3. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat until butter is melted.
  4. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Stir in honey and lemon juice, mixing until the sauce is smooth and slightly thickened.
  6. Arrange seasoned salmon fillets in the prepared baking dish.
  7. Pour the Cajun honey butter sauce evenly over the salmon.
  8. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  9. Optional: Broil for 1–2 minutes at the end for extra caramelization.
  10. Garnish with fresh herbs and serve immediately.
