Cajun Honey Butter Salmon

This Cajun Honey Butter Salmon is pan-seared and coated in a rich, sweet, and spicy honey butter glaze with garlic and lemon. A quick and healthy salmon recipe perfect for easy weeknight dinners.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish optional

Method
 

  1. Pat salmon dry and season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear salmon skin-side down for 4–5 minutes.
  3. Add butter and garlic to the pan. Stir in honey and lemon juice.
  4. Spoon the honey butter glaze over the salmon for 2–3 minutes.
  5. Flip and cook another 2–3 minutes until done.
  6. Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

Do not move salmon while searing to get a golden crust.
Adjust Cajun seasoning for more or less spice.
Substitute butter with olive oil for dairy-free.
