- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion and cook until soft.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned. Stir in garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika. Drain excess grease.
- In a bowl, mix uncooked rice, beef broth, soup, and milk until well combined.
- Stir the cooked ground beef into the rice mixture.
- Pour mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Cover tightly with foil and bake for 40–45 minutes, until rice is tender.
- Remove foil, sprinkle cheese on top, and bake uncovered for 10–15 minutes until melted and bubbly.
- Let rest for 5–10 minutes before serving.
Notes
Long-grain white rice works best for even cooking.
Add vegetables like peas or bell peppers for extra flavor and nutrition.
