Ingredients
  

  • 2 chicken breasts sliced and pounded thin
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ¼ cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons capers
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)
  • Optional Add-ins:

Method
 

  1. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then lightly dredge in flour.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Cook chicken for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, sauté garlic until fragrant.
  5. Add chicken broth and lemon juice, scraping up browned bits from the pan.
  6. Stir in capers and let the sauce simmer for a few minutes.
  7. Add butter and stir until melted and smooth.
  8. Return chicken to the pan and coat with the sauce.
  9. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
