Chicken Taquitos

Crispy baked or air fryer chicken taquitos filled with seasoned shredded chicken, cheese, and salsa. A quick and healthy taquitos recipe perfect for snacks, dinners, or meal prep.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken rotisserie
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
  • 3 tablespoons cream cheese softened
  • 2 tablespoons salsa
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon taco seasoning
  • 10 –12 small tortillas corn or flour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or cooking spray

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or air fryer to 375°F.
  2. Mix chicken, cheese, cream cheese, salsa, garlic powder, and taco seasoning.
  3. Warm tortillas to make them flexible.
  4. Add 2 tablespoons filling to each tortilla and roll tightly.
  5. Place seam-side down on tray. Spray or brush with oil.
  6. Bake 18–22 minutes or air fry 8–10 minutes until crispy.
  7. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Do not overfill tortillas.
Corn tortillas create a flautas-style texture.
Freeze before baking for easy frozen taquitos.
Serve with sour cream, guacamole, or salsa.
