Chocolate Chip Muffins

Soft and fluffy Chocolate Chip Muffins loaded with rich chocolate chips and made with simple pantry ingredients. These easy bakery-style muffins are moist, delicious, and perfect for breakfast, snacks, or quick homemade desserts.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil or melted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk milk, oil (or butter), eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix gently until just combined.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips evenly.
  6. Divide batter into muffin cups (about 3/4 full) and add extra chips on top if desired.
  7. Bake for 18–22 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Do not overmix the batter for soft muffins
Use room temperature ingredients for better texture
Add extra chocolate chips on top for a bakery-style look
Store in an airtight container to keep fresh
