Method
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out puff pastry slightly and cut into triangles.
- Place chocolate at the wide end and roll into croissant shapes.
- Whisk egg and milk, brush over croissants.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden and puffed.
- Cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar if desired.
Notes
Keep pastry cold before baking for best layers.
Do not overfill to prevent chocolate leaking.
Can be assembled ahead and baked fresh.
