Chocolate Muffins

Rich and moist Chocolate Muffins made with cocoa powder and chocolate chips. These easy bakery-style muffins are soft, fluffy, and perfect for breakfast, snacks, or indulgent chocolate desserts.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil or melted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk milk, oil (or butter), eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix gently until just combined.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Divide batter evenly into muffin cups (about 3/4 full).
  7. Bake for 18–22 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cool before serving.

Notes

Do not overmix the batter
Use high-quality cocoa powder for best flavor
Add yogurt or sour cream for extra moisture
Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days
