Ingredients
  

  • Blueberry Filling
  • 4 cups blueberries fresh or frozen
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Cream Cheese Layer
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Cobbler Topping
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup milk
  • ¼ cup melted butter

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8x8 or 9x9 baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix blueberries, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and vanilla. Spread into the baking dish.
  3. In another bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Drop spoonfuls over blueberries.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Add milk and melted butter, stirring until just combined.
  6. Spoon batter evenly over the blueberry and cream cheese layers.
  7. Bake for 40–45 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
  8. Let cool for at least 15 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Frozen blueberries can be used without thawing.
  • Do not overmix the cobbler batter for a softer texture.
  • Add lemon zest for extra brightness.
  • Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
