Season & Sear the Chicken
Season chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Sear chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
Toast the Orzo
In the same skillet, sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
Add uncooked orzo and toast for 1–2 minutes.
Create the Creamy Sauce
Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir well.
Bring to a gentle simmer.
Simmer Together
Return chicken to the skillet.
Cover and cook 12–15 minutes until orzo is tender and chicken is fully cooked.
Finish with Parmesan
Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
Add spinach if desired and cook until wilted.
Serve
Garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan. Serve warm.
