- Step 1 – Add Chicken
- Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the crock pot.
- Step 2 – Add Creamy Ingredients
- Spread the cream cheese over the chicken. Add the cream of chicken soup and chicken broth.
- Step 3 – Season
- Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix, garlic powder, and black pepper over the ingredients.
- Step 4 – Cook
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours until the chicken is tender.
- Step 5 – Shred the Chicken
- Use two forks to shred the chicken directly in the crock pot and stir until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
- Step 6 – Add Cheese
- Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
- Step 7 – Serve
- Serve warm over rice, pasta, or mashed potatoes.
