- Add Chicken:
- Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot in a single layer.
- Prepare Gravy Mixture:
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together gravy mix packets, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until smooth.
- Slow Cook:
- Pour the gravy mixture over the chicken. Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until chicken is tender.
- Shred & Finish:
- Shred chicken directly in the slow cooker using two forks. Stir to combine with gravy. For extra creaminess, stir in sour cream before serving.
- Serve:
- Serve hot over mashed potatoes, rice, egg noodles, or biscuits.
