Method
- In a skillet, cook ground meat until browned.
- Add onion and garlic; sauté until softened. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in taco seasoning and water; simmer 2–3 minutes.
- Mix in salsa, beans, and corn. Heat for 2–3 minutes.
- Lightly grease crockpot.
- Add a layer of tortillas or chips.
- Add meat mixture and sprinkle cheese.
- Repeat layers until ingredients are used, finishing with cheese.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 3–4 hours or HIGH for 1.5–2 hours.
- Let rest 5–10 minutes before serving.
- Add toppings and serve warm.
