Ingredients
  

  • 16 oz 450 g pasta (penne, rotini, or fettuccine)
  • 2 lbs 900 g boneless, skinless chicken breast or thighs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes adjust to taste
  • cup soy sauce or chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream or half-and-half
  • ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)
  • Optional Add-Ins
  • Bell peppers or onions
  • Spinach or broccoli

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta in a large pot of salted water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season chicken with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Cook chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked. Remove and slice.
  5. In the same pan, add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  6. Stir in honey, black pepper, red pepper flakes, and soy sauce.
  7. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  8. Reduce heat to low and stir in cream until smooth.
  9. Add cooked pasta and sliced chicken back to the pan.
  10. Toss to coat evenly and stir in Parmesan cheese.
  11. Taste and adjust seasoning. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Use chicken thighs for extra juiciness
Add pasta water if sauce becomes too thick
Adjust honey or pepper to control sweetness and heat
