Ingredients
  

  • * 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • * 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
  • * 1 teaspoon salt
  • * ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • * 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • * ½ cup ranch dressing or ranch seasoning mixed with mayonnaise
  • * ¾ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • * ½ cup shredded mozzarella or provolone cheese
  • * ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • * 3 tablespoons melted butter

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat and sear chicken for 3–4 minutes per side until lightly golden.
  4. Transfer chicken to the prepared baking dish.
  5. Spread ranch dressing evenly over each chicken breast.
  6. In a bowl, combine Parmesan cheese, mozzarella or provolone, panko breadcrumbs, and melted butter.
  7. Spoon the Parmesan mixture over the chicken, pressing gently to stick.
  8. Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, until chicken is cooked through and topping is golden.
  9. Optional: Broil for 1–2 minutes for extra crispiness.
  10. Let rest briefly, then serve warm.

* Pound chicken breasts to even thickness for even cooking.
* Freshly grated Parmesan gives the best flavor and crunch.
* For a richer topping, replace ranch dressing with mayonnaise.
