Method
- Place Chicken in Crockpot
- Add the chicken breasts to the bottom of your slow cooker.
- Season
- Sprinkle ranch seasoning and au jus mix evenly over the chicken.
- Add Butter & Peppers
- Place the butter on top of the chicken and add pepperoncini peppers around it. Pour in the juice if using.
- Cook
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours until the chicken is tender.
- Shred
- Shred the chicken directly in the crockpot using two forks. Stir well to combine everything into a creamy mixture.
- Optional Step
- Stir in cream cheese for a richer texture and let melt completely before serving.
Notes
Use boneless chicken thighs for extra juicy results.
Adjust pepperoncini quantity for milder or tangier flavor.
Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days.
Freezes well for up to 3 months.
