Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Nutella
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • ½ cup chocolate chips optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat Oven:
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Mix Wet Ingredients:
  4. In a medium bowl, combine Nutella, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Add Dry Ingredients:
  6. Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt until fully combined. Fold in chocolate chips if using.
  7. Shape Cookies:
  8. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing about 2 inches apart.
  9. Bake:
  10. Bake for 8–10 minutes, until edges are set but centers remain soft.
  11. Cool:
  12. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For Nutella Filled Cookies, freeze small spoonfuls of Nutella and wrap dough around them before baking.
To make Nutella Sandwich cookies, spread extra Nutella between two cooled cookies.
Do not overbake — cookies will firm up as they cool.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days.
Freeze for up to 2 months for longer storage.
