Parmesan Crusted Chicken with Creamy Garlic Sauce

Ingredients
  

  • For the Chicken
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • For the Creamy Garlic Sauce
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, mix Parmesan, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. Coat chicken breasts evenly in the Parmesan mixture.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
  5. Add chicken broth and cream. Simmer for 3–4 minutes.
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens. Season to taste.
  7. Return chicken to the pan and spoon sauce over the top.
  8. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan for best crust texture.
Great served over pasta for a creamy garlic chicken pasta meal.
Sauce thickens as it cools.
