- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add shrimp, season with salt, pepper, and paprika, and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add cooked pasta and shrimp back to the pan.
- Toss everything together, adding reserved pasta water if needed to adjust the sauce.
- Taste and adjust seasoning, then serve warm.

Do not overcook shrimp to keep them tender and juicy.
