Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs beef stew meat
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 3 cups mushrooms sliced

  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Method
 

  1. Add beef stew meat to the slow cooker.
  2. Top with diced onion, sliced mushrooms, and minced garlic.
  3. Pour in beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard.
  4. Season with paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir gently to combine.
  5. Cover and cook on LOW for 7–8 hours or HIGH for 4–5 hours, until beef is tender.
  6. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with water. Stir into the slow cooker to thicken the sauce. Cook for 15 minutes.
