- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with diced onion until fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
- Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Transfer beef mixture to the slow cooker.
- Add beans, corn, diced tomatoes, cream soup, potatoes, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Stir everything together until well combined.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6 hours or HIGH for 3 hours, until potatoes are tender.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top during the last 20 minutes of cooking.
- Cover and cook until cheese is melted.
- Stir gently and serve hot.

Ground turkey can be substituted for beef.
