  • 2 pounds beef chuck or sirloin cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter sliced
  • 6 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt adjust to taste
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley or Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil optional, for searing

Method
 

  1. Prepare the Beef
  2. Cut the beef into evenly sized bite-sized pieces. Pat dry with paper towels and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  3. Optional Searing Step
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the beef cubes for 2–3 minutes per side until browned. This step adds extra flavor but can be skipped for convenience.
  5. Add Ingredients to Slow Cooker
  6. Place the beef into the slow cooker. Add minced garlic, butter slices, paprika, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth.
  7. Slow Cook
  8. Cover and cook on LOW for 6–8 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until the beef is tender and infused with garlic butter flavor.
  9. Stir and Adjust Seasoning
  10. Gently stir the beef bites and taste the sauce. Adjust salt and pepper if needed.
  11. Serve
  12. Serve hot over mashed potatoes, rice, pasta, or alongside steamed vegetables for a balanced healthy high protein meal.

Notes

For a healthier crockpot version, use a leaner cut of beef and reduce butter slightly.
Add vegetables like green beans, mushrooms, or carrots during the last 2 hours of cooking.
