Method
- (Optional) Heat olive oil in a pan and sear beef on all sides until browned.
- Place onions and garlic in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Add beef on top.
- Pour in beef broth, tomato paste, lime juice, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Mix seasoning spices and sprinkle evenly over beef.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 8–10 hours or HIGH for 4–6 hours.
- Remove beef and shred with two forks.
- Return shredded beef to juices and mix well.
- Serve in tortillas with toppings of choice.

- Chuck roast works best for tender shredded beef recipes.
- Cooking on LOW gives the best texture.

- Store leftovers up to 4 days or freeze for 3 months.
