In a bowl, mix ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add small portions of beef and smash flat. Cook until crispy and browned, then break into small pieces.
In a separate skillet, heat butter or oil over medium heat.
Place one tortilla in the pan and sprinkle cheese evenly.
Add cooked smashburger beef, onions, and pickles if using.
Add more cheese and top with another tortilla.
Cook 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
Press lightly while cooking for a crisp texture.
Remove from heat, rest for 1–2 minutes, then slice into wedges.
Serve with burger sauce or preferred dipping sauce.
