S’mores Cake

This S’mores Cake layers graham cracker crust, moist chocolate cake, fluffy marshmallow filling, and rich chocolate ganache for the ultimate campfire-inspired dessert. Perfect for birthdays, parties, and easy s’mores dessert lovers.

Ingredients
  

  • Graham Cracker Crust
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • Chocolate Cake
  • 1 box chocolate cake mix plus eggs, oil, and water as directed
  • Marshmallow Filling
  • 1 cup butter softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups marshmallow fluff
  • Chocolate Ganache
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • cups chocolate chips
  • Topping
  • Mini marshmallows
  • Chocolate bar pieces
  • Graham cracker chunks

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two 9-inch cake pans.
  2. Combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Press into the bottom of pans.
  3. Prepare cake mix as directed and pour over crusts.
  4. Bake 25–30 minutes. Cool completely.
  5. Beat butter, powdered sugar, vanilla, and marshmallow fluff until smooth.
  6. Layer cakes with marshmallow filling between them.
  7. Heat cream and pour over chocolate chips. Stir into ganache.
  8. Pour ganache over cake and top with marshmallows, chocolate, and graham crackers.
  9. Toast marshmallows lightly with a torch if desired.

Notes

Chill 20 minutes before slicing for clean cuts.
Store covered in the refrigerator up to 4 days.
Toasting marshmallows adds authentic s’mores flavor.
