- Cook the Spaghetti
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook spaghetti according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Prepare the Meat Sauce
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion and cook until softened (about 3 minutes). Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- Add ground beef (or chicken) and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Stir in marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10–15 minutes.
- Toss cooked spaghetti with sauce and sprinkle Parmesan on top.
- Make the Garlic Bread
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, and parsley.
- Slice bread lengthwise and spread garlic butter evenly. Top with mozzarella and cheddar.
- Bake 10–12 minutes until cheese melts and edges are golden. Broil 1–2 minutes for extra crispiness.
Notes
Salt pasta water generously for better flavor.
Do not overcook pasta — al dente is best.
Use freshly shredded cheese for smoother melting.
Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
Reheat garlic bread in oven or air fryer for crisp texture.
