Method
- Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Press firmly into the bottom of the pan.
- Bake crust for 10 minutes, then set aside to cool slightly.
- Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing just until combined. Stir in vanilla.
- Spread cheesecake filling evenly over the crust.
- In another bowl, toss apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice.
- Spoon apple mixture evenly over the cheesecake layer.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes, until edges are set and center slightly jiggles.
- Cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
- Drizzle with caramel sauce before slicing into bars.
Notes
For Caramel Apple Crisp Cheesecake Bars, add a simple oat crumble topping before baking.
Use firm apples to prevent excess moisture.
