Bang Bang Chicken Sliders

These Bang Bang Chicken Sliders are sweet, spicy, creamy, and incredibly satisfying. Tender shredded chicken is coated in a bold bang bang sauce made with mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and a touch of heat, then layered into soft Kings Hawaiian slider buns. Perfect for lazy dinners, quick lunch recipes, or fun food recipes for dinner, these sliders are easy to make and packed with flavor.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 12 slider buns preferably Kings Hawaiian rolls
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter for brushing buns
  • Optional Toppings
  • Pickles
  • Jalapeño slices
  • Shredded cheese
  • Extra sriracha drizzle

Method
 

  1. Prepare the Bang Bang Sauce
  2. In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice until smooth.
  3. Mix the Chicken
  4. Add shredded chicken and toss until fully coated with the sauce.
  5. Prepare the Slider Buns
  6. Slice the buns in half and place the bottom halves on a baking sheet.
  7. Warm the Chicken
  8. Heat the chicken mixture in a skillet over medium heat for about 3–4 minutes.
  9. Assemble the Sliders
  10. Spoon the saucy chicken mixture evenly over the bottom buns.
  11. Add Fresh Toppings
  12. Top with shredded lettuce, carrots, and green onions.
  13. Add the Top Buns
  14. Place the top halves of the buns over the chicken filling.
  15. Brush with Butter
  16. Lightly brush the tops with melted butter for extra flavor.
  17. Bake (Optional)
  18. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 8–10 minutes until the buns are warm and slightly toasted.
  19. Serve and Enjoy
  20. Serve immediately as delicious mini chicken sandwich sliders.

  • Rotisserie chicken works perfectly for quick rotisserie chicken sliders.
  • Adjust the spice level by adding more or less sriracha.
